To mark its 111th anniversary in 2021, the Güde manufactory from Solingen has produced The Knife Jade in a limited edition of 111 pieces. The Knife Jade with a non-riveted handle made of New Zealand jade is characterised by excellent manufacturing quality: the 3 mm thick blade is made of ice-hardened chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel, is ground on both sides and does not rust.

The Knife Jade was born out of Adam White's enthusiasm for the unusual blade shape of the completely rethought chef's knife The Knife. The Knife Jade is therefore the symbiosis of Solingen forging with perfect craftsmanship: on the other side of the world, the New Zealand Chef and jewellery artist has fitted the blade with a handle made of precious jade from the Pelorus River in Marlborough Sound. Care instructions: clean by hand only.
