Sharpening technique

For the sharpening of your knives you should apply the right sharpening technique. A knife sharpener offers the easiest sharpening technique. Grinding stones have the best sharpening effects but their use demands some practice. Sharpening steels (ceramic steels for damask knives, diamond steels for ceramic knives) are especially appropriate for quick, occasional sharpening.
