Kyocera knives are easy-care and easy to clean. Please observe that the blades of the Kyocera knives are kept shock-proof to avoid damages. In principle the products with synthetic handle are dishwasher safe but we recommend for every high quality knife a cleaning by hand. We would also advise you to use a woody or synthetic cutting board as working mat.
To avoid a break loose of the ceramic blade, please consider the following suggestions:
• Do not drop the knife
• Do not use the knife for planing or shaving
• Do not use the knife for leveraging
• Do not cant the knife when cutting
• Do not cut frozen food, bones or fishbones with the ceramic knife
