Kai: sponsor of the prize for young cooking talents

On the occasion of gastronomia in Lausanne, Kai, as sponsor of the prize of the second "Gastro Union Challenge" (9th to 11th november 2014), handed over a Kai Shun damask knife set of a value of more than CHF 500.-- to the winners of the competition for apprentices of hospitality industry and catering trade of western Switzerland.

Under the patronage of Benoît Violier, chef cook of the restaurant de l'Hôtel de Ville in Crissier and president of honor of the "Gastro Union Challenge", 12 teams (two cook apprentices and one apprentice of the catering trade) prepared a three course menu of local products, which has been served according to all the rules of catering trade.
