Windmühle knife sharpening

Take the Windmühlen knife out of the knife holder and sharpener and tilt the holder 90 degrees. Now pull both sides of the Windmühlen knife 's blade 3 to 4 times softly and with jsut a little pressure over the ceramic surface of the knife holder.

You get the best results for Windmühlen knives of Solingen if you hold an angle of 10 to 15 degrees.

For a safe and gentle storage of the resharpened knives, just put them back into the knife holder.
